A 13-year-old Afghan boy managed to secretly board a KAM Air flight from Kabul to Delhi by hiding in the aircraft’s landing gear compartment. The flight lasted approximately 94 minutes, during which the boy remained concealed in the landing gear area.
Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, the boy was discovered wandering on the runway. Authorities were alerted and took him into custody for further assessment and care.
The incident raises concerns about security protocols and the measures in place to prevent unauthorized boarding, especially involving vulnerable individuals. Investigation into how the boy was able to evade detection during boarding is ongoing.
