The drone activity led to a major impact on air travel in the region, with Copenhagen Airport experiencing the diversion of 51 flights and the cancellation of 109 flights. neighboring Oslo Airport also reported disruptions, with 11 flights diverted and 19 canceled due to the incident. The widespread cancellations and diversions resulted in travel delays and inconvenience for many passengers.

Despite ongoing investigations, police authorities have not determined the origin or purpose of the drone flights. The drones ultimately disappeared without a trace, complicating efforts to track down those responsible. Aviation and security officials are reviewing existing protocols and considering additional measures to prevent future disruptions from similar incidents.
