Venezuela reported multiple strikes on key infrastructure sites across the country on the night of October 23. The targets included major military and communication facilities located in and around Caracas, the capital city. Among those affected were Fuerte Tiuna, the country’s primary military base, and La Carlota, the main airbase servicing the capital region.
Officials confirmed that the strikes also hit El Volcán, a significant communications and signal antenna site, along with La Guaira Port, which serves as Venezuela’s main seaport for international trade. Additionally, Higuerote Airport was reported as a target, adding to the scope of the operations.
The government has yet to release detailed information on casualties or the extent of damage from the strikes. Security forces have initiated investigations into the incidents, which have sparked concerns over regional stability. International reactions remain cautious as both government and opposition sources assess the situation.
