Hungary has completed the construction of a large border fence aimed at curbing illegal migration, despite objections from the European Union. The Hungarian government emphasizes the fence’s effectiveness in addressing migration concerns, asserting that it has successfully reduced unauthorized crossings along its borders.
The move has inspired other countries to follow suit, contributing to a broader shift in migration control measures within Europe. A Hungarian Member of the European Parliament, Laszlo, defended the border fence in a recent speech, stating that many Europeans have grown tired of what he described as “migration madness” and support stronger border controls.
